I am Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students), Professor and Dean of Education at Southern Cross University. In this role I’m responsible for oversight and strategic management for improved engagement, experience and retention of students across the University. I also have specific responsibility, as Dean of Education, for the quality of the Teacher Education programs, research and service in the field of education for the University. I aim to bring together work groups including sporting clubs and societies, equity and diversity services, surveys for engagement and retention, student recruitment and outreach, careers development and employability, and accommodation/student loans with the School of Education. This is in order to provide a holistic and supportive framework for student success.
